- Ahrefs price in India (checked 30 Oct 2026): Ahrefs bills in US dollars only. Starter $29 (about ₹2,766), Lite $129 (about ₹12,303), Standard $249 (about ₹23,747), Advanced $449 (about ₹42,821) a month.
- Rupee figures are approximate: converted at the RBI reference rate of ₹95.37 per dollar (29 Oct 2026), before GST and bank forex charges.
- Credits: Starter has 200 a month, Lite 1,000 per user, Standard and above unlimited fair use.
- Yearly billing: pay for 10 months, get 12 (Lite, Standard, Advanced). Starter is monthly only.
- Group buys sell shared Ahrefs logins for ₹999 to ₹1,799 a month; Ahrefs says they break its terms and accounts can be banned.
- DesiBundle does not sell Ahrefs. Its cheapest SEO suite option is Semrush Cheap Subscription (₹599 a year).
Searching for the Ahrefs price in India gives you a confusing mix: old $99 tables, rupee prices converted at whatever rate the writer used that day, and group-buy sellers quoting ₹999 to ₹1,799 a month. Almost none of them mention the newest and cheapest official plan, Ahrefs Starter at $29 a month.
This guide uses the plan prices shown on the Ahrefs pricing page on 30 Oct 2026, the Starter details from Ahrefs’ own help centre and blog, and one clearly dated exchange rate. It explains how Ahrefs credits work, what each plan includes, what a year really costs, and where group buys fit in. We do not sell Ahrefs, so we have no reason to make it look more expensive than it is.
Ahrefs price in India: plan table in $ and approximate ₹
| Plan | Monthly (USD) | Yearly (USD) | ≈ ₹ a month | ≈ ₹ a year | Credits / usage | Source |

- Official: Lite, Standard, Advanced and Enterprise prices were read directly from Ahrefs pricing page on 30 Oct 2026. Enterprise needs a yearly commitment.
- Starter: the $29 price, 200 credits and monthly-only renewal come from Ahrefs Help: About the Starter plan (updated 3 Sep 2026) and Ahrefs blog: How to choose the right Ahrefs plan (9 Mar 2026). The main pricing page did not show Starter when we checked, so confirm it in your Ahrefs account before you pay.
- Rupee figures are approximate. We converted at ₹95.37 per US dollar, the RBI reference rate on 29 Oct 2026, and rounded. They do not include GST or your bank’s forex markup.
Ahrefs Starter at $29: what you really get
Starter is Ahrefs’ answer to people who only need a small amount of data. According to Ahrefs Help: About the Starter plan, it includes:
- Tools: SEO Dashboard, Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer, Site Audit, Rank Tracker and the Ahrefs SEO Toolbar.
- Credits: 200 a month, plus 500 extra credits usable only on websites you have verified.
- Projects: 1 unverified project and unlimited verified projects.
- Limits: no extra users and no extra credits can be bought. Renewal is monthly only.
- Note: Ahrefs says Starter features and limits may change without notice. An older Ahrefs blog post lists 100 credits, so check the figure in your account.
For a blogger who checks a few competitors and keywords each week, Starter at about ₹2,766 a month is the cheapest official way to use Ahrefs data. Ahrefs itself recommends Starter over group buys on its Ahrefs blog: Get Ahrefs at group buy pricing page, pointing out that $29 is less than many group buys charge.
Ahrefs credits and limits explained
Credits decide how much you can do on Starter and Lite. Ahrefs Help: usage-based pricing explains the rules:
- 1 credit is used each time you open a report, apply a filter or ask for more data in Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer and similar tools.
- Site Audit and Rank Tracker do not use credits; they have their own crawl-credit and tracked-keyword limits.
- Lite includes 1,000 credits for its one included user. Extra users on Lite are charged by usage: $20 a month for a casual user and $40 for a power user.
- Extra credits on Lite cost $50 per 500 pay-as-you-go. They cannot be bought on Starter.
- Standard and above give every active user unlimited fair-use credits, so you stop counting clicks.
In practice, 200 credits disappear fast if you filter reports a lot. Opening one domain overview, its backlinks report, its top pages and two filtered keyword lists already uses about five credits. If you research 30 to 40 domains a month, Starter is enough; if you do client audits every day, you need Lite or Standard.
Ahrefs Lite vs Standard vs Advanced vs Enterprise
From the Ahrefs pricing page on 30 Oct 2026:
- Lite ($129, about ₹12,303 a month): 6 months of history, 750 tracked keywords, 150 AI prompt checks, 100,000 crawl credits, API and MCP access, 1,000 credits per user, 1 user (add 2 more at $40 each), 20 unverified projects.
- Standard ($249, about ₹23,747): 2 years of history, 2,000 tracked keywords, 300 AI prompt checks, 500,000 crawl credits, unlimited credits per user, add 5 more users at $60 each, 50 unverified projects. Adds Content Explorer, Portfolios, Batch Analysis, Brand Radar and broken-link reports.
- Advanced ($449, about ₹42,821): 5 years of history, 5,000 tracked keywords, 600 AI prompt checks, 1,500,000 crawl credits, add 10 more users at $80 each, plus Looker Studio integration.
- Enterprise ($1,499, about ₹1,42,960): yearly commitment, unlimited users at extra cost and agency-level limits.
Most Indian freelancers who do client work end up on Standard, because Lite’s credit cap and missing Content Explorer get in the way. Bloggers and small business owners usually manage with Starter or Lite.
Ahrefs price in India per year: all options
Official prices are converted at ₹95.37 per dollar and exclude GST and forex charges. Seller prices are what each site showed on its own page on 30 Oct 2026.
| Option | USD | ≈ ₹ per year |
|---|---|---|
| Ahrefs Advanced, yearly | $4,490 | ₹4,28,211 |
| Ahrefs Standard, yearly | $2,490 | ₹2,37,471 |
| Ahrefs Lite, monthly ×12 | $1,548 | ₹1,47,633 |
| Ahrefs Lite, yearly | $1,290 | ₹1,23,027 |
| Ahrefs Starter ×12 | $348 | ₹33,189 |
| ToolzBuy Ahrefs Premium ₹1,799 ×12 | — | ₹21,588 |
| ToolzBuy Ahrefs Standard ₹1,399 ×12 | — | ₹16,788 |
| amztools.co.in / groupaitools.com / groupbuyaitool.in ₹999 ×12 | — | ₹11,988 |
| DesiBundle Semrush Cheap Subscription (not Ahrefs) | — | ₹599 |
- Yearly Lite saves two months compared with paying monthly: $1,290 instead of $1,548.
- Starter for a full year costs about ₹33,189, roughly a quarter of Lite yearly.
- The DesiBundle row is Semrush, not Ahrefs. It is there because many buyers searching the Ahrefs price in India only need a competitor-research suite.
Tax, forex and add-ons Indian buyers miss
- Prices exclude tax. Ahrefs states that its prices are in US dollars and exclusive of tax. GST is usually added for Indian buyers.
- Forex markup. Most Indian credit and debit cards add a foreign-transaction fee, commonly 1% to 3.5%, plus the bank’s own exchange rate.
- Extra users. $40, $60 or $80 a month each on Lite, Standard and Advanced.
- Add-ons. Report Builder ($99 a month), Traffic Analytics (from $99), Project Boost ($20 or $200 per project) and the AI Content Kit (from $99, marked “Soon”) are all extra.
- Auto-renewal. Set a reminder a few days before renewal if you only need one month.
Ahrefs group buys: the honest section
A group buy is a seller sharing one paid Ahrefs account with many buyers, usually through a browser extension or a remote session. What we found on 30 Oct 2026:
- ToolzBuy: “Standard” plan with 30 credits a day for ₹1,399 a month and “Premium” with 50 a day for ₹1,799 a month. Its own page says group buys sit in a terms-of-service gray area. An older ToolzBuy URL shows different prices.
- SEOShope: its Ahrefs page (₹1,499 a month) is a “launching soon / join the launch list” page with pre-order status, so it is not selling Ahrefs yet.
- amztools.co.in: Ahrefs shared account from ₹999 for 1 month, with 3- and 12-month options.
- groupaitools.com and groupbuyaitool.in: Ahrefs shared access at ₹999 a month each.
What Ahrefs says: its Ahrefs blog: Get Ahrefs at group buy pricing post warns that group buys violate Ahrefs’ terms and that such accounts can be permanently banned at any moment. It also lists unclear setup, harsh limits, missing tools and no official support. Those risks are real:
- Daily credit caps of 30 to 50 are far below what an official Lite or Standard user gets.
- Tools such as Site Audit for your own site are often not available on shared logins.
- Other buyers can see what you searched, so client research is not private.
- If the account is banned, your month is gone; check each seller’s refund terms first.
Our view: for client work, pay for an official plan. For learning or occasional research, the official Starter plan at about ₹2,766 a month is often cheaper than a ₹999 to ₹1,799 group buy, and it is your own account.
Cheaper options if Ahrefs is too expensive
- Free tools first: Ahrefs Webmaster Tools (free, for sites you verify) and Google Search Console cover your own site’s backlinks, errors and rankings.
- Ahrefs Starter ($29): the cheapest official access, enough for light competitor checks.
- DesiBundle Semrush plans: Semrush Cheap Subscription (₹599 a year) or Semrush GroupBuy India. Semrush covers keyword research, backlinks, site audits and competitor traffic. This is shared access, not your own Semrush account, so it has limits and can be interrupted.
- Other DesiBundle SEO tools: Moz Pro, Ubersuggest, SpyFu and the SEO Tools bundle at ₹597 to ₹599.

Ahrefs price in India: FAQ
What is the Ahrefs price in India in 2026?
Ahrefs bills in US dollars. Lite is $129 a month, Standard $249, Advanced $449 and Enterprise $1,499 (yearly commitment), per ahrefs.com/pricing on 30 Oct 2026. The $29 Starter plan is described on Ahrefs’ help centre and blog. At the RBI reference rate of ₹95.37 per dollar (29 Oct 2026), Lite is about ₹12,303 a month before GST and card charges.
How much is the Ahrefs Starter plan in rupees?
Starter is $29 a month, about ₹2,766 at ₹95.37 per dollar. It renews monthly only, includes 200 credits a month per Ahrefs Help (updated 3 Sep 2026), and you cannot buy extra users or credits on it.
What are Ahrefs credits?
On Starter and Lite, one credit is used each time you open a report, apply a filter or request more data in tools such as Site Explorer and Keywords Explorer. Site Audit and Rank Tracker have their own limits and do not use credits. Standard and higher plans have unlimited fair-use credits for each user.
How many credits does each Ahrefs plan include?
Starter: 200 a month, plus 500 that work only on verified projects. Lite: 1,000 per user a month. Standard, Advanced and Enterprise: unlimited fair use per user. One older Ahrefs blog post still says 100 for Starter, so check your account page.
Is there an Ahrefs free trial in India?
Ahrefs does not list a free trial of paid plans. The free Ahrefs account (Ahrefs Webmaster Tools) lets you audit and see backlink data for sites you own and verify. Starter at $29 a month is the cheapest paid way to try Ahrefs.
Does Ahrefs charge GST in India?
Ahrefs lists prices excluding tax. Indian buyers paying in dollars usually see GST and a foreign-transaction markup from their bank on top, so your card statement will be higher than the converted list price.
How much do I save with yearly Ahrefs billing?
Lite, Standard and Advanced cost 10 months’ price for 12 months when paid yearly (up to 17% off). Lite yearly is $1,290, about ₹1,23,027. Starter cannot be paid yearly.
Is an Ahrefs group buy safe?
Ahrefs’ own blog says group buys break its terms and that it can permanently ban such accounts. Shared logins also come with credit caps, missing tools and no official support. Sellers such as ToolzBuy list Ahrefs at ₹1,399 to ₹1,799 a month (checked 30 Oct 2026).

What is a cheaper alternative to Ahrefs in India?
For your own site, the free Ahrefs Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console. For competitor research on a budget, the Ahrefs Starter plan, or a Semrush plan. See our Ahrefs alternatives in India guide for a ranked list.
