- Starter: the $49 price appears on the same page as a one-line offer “designed specifically for individuals managing a single website”. Its quotas below come from third-party reviews (getseoheatmap.com (1 Oct 2026); toolchase.com), not from Moz.
- Standard’s 150 keyword queries are hidden in Moz’s comparison table, so we took the figure from Capterra, blogpilot.ai (24 Oct 2026) and getseoheatmap.com (1 Oct 2026), which all agree.

Moz Pro Starter at $49: what you get
Starter is the cheapest official way to get Moz Pro data, at about ₹4,673 a month. Moz itself publishes only the price and that it is for one website. Third-party reviews (labelled, not verified with Moz) describe it as:
- Sites and users: 1 campaign (one website) and 1 user.
- Tracked keywords: 50, updated weekly.
- Research: about 75 keyword queries and 75 backlink queries a month.
- Crawl: about 20,000 pages a month for Site Crawl.
- Extras: MozBar Premium; no AI Visibility dashboards (those start on Standard, per getseoheatmap.com (1 Oct 2026)).
- Yearly price: not published by Moz. One review site (toolchase.com) lists $39 a month on annual billing; treat that as unverified.
Starter suits a blogger with one site who checks a handful of keywords each week. If you research new topics daily, 75 lookups will run out in the first week.
Keyword queries and Standard’s 150 limit, explained
Moz Pro has two different keyword numbers, and mixing them up is the most common buying mistake:
- Tracked keywords (300 on Standard, 1,500 on Medium, 3,000 on Large) are rankings Moz checks every week for your campaigns.
- Keyword queries are new searches in Keyword Explorer. Standard allows 150 a month, Medium 5,000 and Large 15,000 (Medium and Large figures from the Moz Pro pricing page; Standard from Capterra and blogpilot.ai (24 Oct 2026)).
- Each lookup counts. Typing a keyword, checking its SERP or pulling suggestions uses queries from the monthly pool.
- Extra queries cost $10 a month per 10,000 on top of your plan, per Moz’s pricing FAQ.
What the 150 limit means on shared access
- The pool is shared. If a shared account is on Standard, its 150 lookups a month are used by every member together. With 30 members that is about 5 lookups each.
- It can run out early. Once the pool is used, Keyword Explorer stops returning new data until Moz resets it, even if your own plan has months left.
- Other tools still work. Domain Authority checks, Link Explorer, MozBar and campaign data usually keep working when keyword queries are used up, subject to their own limits.

For an Indian freelancer doing keyword research for clients, Medium is usually the first plan that does not feel tight, because of the jump from 150 to 5,000 keyword queries. Standard fits someone who mainly tracks rankings and checks Domain Authority.

- Yearly saves 20%: Standard costs $950 a year instead of $1,188 paid monthly, a saving of about ₹22,698.
- Starter has no published yearly price, so its row is 12 monthly payments.
- ₹99 a month sellers cost ₹1,188 a year. Some of them compare that with “≈$1,188 a year” official, which is Standard paid monthly; Standard paid yearly is $950.
GST, forex and add-ons Indian buyers miss
- Dollar billing: Moz prices are in US dollars. GST is usually added for Indian buyers.
- Forex markup: most Indian cards add 1% to 3.5% plus the bank’s own rate.
- Extra users: $49 a month per seat on any plan (Moz FAQ).
- Add-ons: $10 per extra campaign, $15 per extra 50,000 pages crawled, $20 per extra 200 tracked keywords, $10 per extra 10,000 keyword queries, $25 per 5 extra keyword or link lists. Extra AI dashboards are $20 each and extra prompts $50 per 100.
- Cancellation: Moz says you can cancel or change plans at any time. One review site (launchranked.com) says Moz does not give refunds; we could not confirm that, so cancel before renewal if you only need one month.
- Not included: Moz Local and the Moz API are separate products with their own prices.
